About

First, let me refer you here: http://www.myweekendshoes.com/2011/02/have-to-start-somewhere/

Secondly: A bit more background
I’m a married, not-even-slightly-in-the-closet crossdresser who also happens to be a software-developer, and all-round generally nice guy, or at least, that’s what I’ve been told.

The reasons for this blog are many:

  • To hopefully show the world that I’m not *really* a giant freak-monster
  • To also hopefully show the world that for the most part, neither are the majority of crossdressers
  • To deal with some of my own issues relating to the subject
  • To get my writing skills back up to scratch

Mostly this blog exists to fill a gap. As a crossdresser, I spent a lot of time trying to find decent advice on how to dress, what to buy, how to apply makeup, how to deal with other people, how to go out, what to do, etc, and I found that a lot of the information out there was hard to find, wasn’t very good, and wasn’t particularly up to date. I suppose the main aim of this blog is to put down my experiences for other people to read. For others like myself to find a better crossdressing blog out there than I myself could find. For them to know that there’s nothing wrong with crossdressing. That we’re not monsters or perverts – that we’re just normal people trying to deal with this particular element of ourselves in a world which isn’t necessarily open to us.
