Las Vegas is only a short flight from San Francisco, and one thing that Vegas has in large supply is cheap hotel rooms. More specifically, cheap hotel rooms that are spacious. And spacious hotel rooms are a lot better for taking photos in because there’s usually more interesting backgrounds to actually take photos with, and there’s also a lot more space to move a camera around in. So far I’ve done a shoot in The Cosmopolitan and a very short shoot in The Linq after flying to vegas while dressed. This time around, we’re hitting up The Flamingo! The thing […]

Vegas: The Flamingo

Photography is hard. When I’m running around doing my own photoshoots, I’m very much focused on only a few angles and a few poses, while I struggle to figure out what else I can do, and how much originality I can eke out of my limited repertoire. So when I was booking my most recent trip to Las Vegas for my own shoot, I wondered if it would be worth actually paying a professional to take photos of me. SHOCK HORROR, CALL THE NEWSPAPERS! “Separates” seems to be the accidental theme here. Along with that, in every outfit here (apart from one…uh, two.), I’m wearing sandals, which is… a surprise. I’ve previously mentioned that it took me a while to come around to liking my feet, and now I find myself in the happy position of […]

Separates and Sandals

It’s odd. The last time I dressed was about two months ago. After that, I just… didn’t. It was weird. I always thought that if the need/desire to dress ever disappeared, it would be great! In reality though, it was much more “Huh. That’s weird. I wonder when it’s going to come back.” What was more peculiar though was the fact that while it was gone, I was kind of worried about it. I don’t really know how to explain it. Anyway. I’M BACK! I could feel the need for it building up over the last week, and today I […]

Happy Easter or whatever!
