Well this is fucking surreal, isn’t it? Various countries around the planet are going into lockdown or semi-quarantine states in order to slow the spread of a contagious disease. If you’re anything like me, you’re tired, you’re stressed out, and you’re struggling to get to grips with whatever this might mean in the long term. In the short term, for the love of god, wash your fucking hands. I’ve been trying to view this as a bit of an opportunity, or as much of one as I possibly can. I’m lucky enough to be able to work from home, but […]

Crossdressing in the time of COVID-19

Las Vegas is only a short flight from San Francisco, and one thing that Vegas has in large supply is cheap hotel rooms. More specifically, cheap hotel rooms that are spacious. And spacious hotel rooms are a lot better for taking photos in because there’s usually more interesting backgrounds to actually take photos with, and there’s also a lot more space to move a camera around in. So far I’ve done a shoot in The Cosmopolitan and a very short shoot in The Linq after flying to vegas while dressed. This time around, we’re hitting up The Flamingo! The thing […]

Photography is hard. When I’m running around doing my own photoshoots, I’m very much focused on only a few angles and a few poses, while I struggle to figure out what else I can do, and how much originality I can eke out of my limited repertoire. So when I was booking my most recent trip to Las Vegas for my own shoot, I wondered if it would be worth actually paying a professional to take photos of me. The boudoir photoshoot landscape is a bit daunting, particularly because it’s easy to look at those photos, see the stunning women […]

A Boudoir Photoshoot

Sometimes I think I need to retire from the modern world, because it makes me incredibly sad. Maybe I should go live on a mountain, or deep in the forest, away from the news, computers, and the hustle and bustle of daily life. Searching for some occupation, I could take up whittling. I bet after a week or so, I could whittle some pretty sweet spoons. I could spend hours and hours whittling all kinds of different spoons – big spoons, little spoons, simple spoons, intricate spoons. Maybe one day I would get fancy and make a slotted spoon. Thousands […]

Boobs. You love them, I love them. British indie band Cornershop loves them, writing “Everybody needs a bosom for a pillow” in their 1997 smash hit “Brimful of Asha”. Theirs, apparently, was on the “45”, whereas mine is generally tucked away in a box in my closet, up until such a time as knockers are required. When I first started out crossdressing, boobs usually meant scrounging whatever I had around me in order to fill up an otherwise empty bra. Scrunched up t-shirts and beanie-hats usually fit the bill (or cup?). For some reason, I eschewed most people’s default of […]

REVIEW: Exsil Breastforms from Glamour Boutique

The last time I was in Las Vegas, it was primarily for a half-marathon, but with a focus on dressing up and hanging with my friends. This time round, I was primarily there for a photoshoot. It went ok. Actually, depending on how you look at it, it went pretty awful. It got up to 43C/110F, which are temperatures I cannot abide. I tend to thrive around 21C/70F, and subsequently melt into a heap at 30C/86F. I had a pretty bad cough/cold, and spent a large portion of my time being doped up on almost-certainly too-much-dayquil and figuring out where […]

Colours of Las Vegas

(Part of Colours of Las Vegas) I’d gotten pictures of myself in a swimsuit before, but never a bikini. Honestly, I was a bit terrified even buying this because how could it possibly look good? I was glad to be mistaken. This was a good start to the day. It wasn’t a full-on bikini-world, however. A cover-up was necessary because of the obvious reasons. I saw what was down there, it was not a good look. Nevertheless, the cover-up didn’t detract from the outfit at all – it matched really well! Also I’m pretty happy about the fact that I […]

Vegas: Red

(Part of Colours of Las Vegas) I almost didn’t buy this dress. I forget why. Even when it arrived, I wasn’t sure how good it would look. After a wash and some drying though, it de-wrinkled enough for me to be pretty sure it would look ok. That, and matched with some converse from the collection, it actually ended up being much cuter than I’d hoped, and photographed really well! Bright colours might be my jam. Given my brownness, bright colours complement my skin pretty well, which is helpful. There’s something very innocent about this outfit. Not sure if it’s […]
