It’s been a WHILE since I posted, well… anything. Sorry about that. But anyway, here’s some pics I took this weekend :) If there’s anything I’ve learned from this photoshoot, it’s… Photoshoots are hard I need MUCH better lighting solutions, because lamps with foil attached don’t really do it Posing is tougher than it looks I could REALLY do with a nikon prime lens with a wider angle than 35mm Anyway…

An actually-decent Photoshoot

So, my job’s kind of cool inasmuch as they have lots of somewhat large parties where people dress up (You’ve probably noticed). Ever since the first one I dressed up at (which was scary, but a necessary step in my eventual coming out of the CD closet and having people see this as a NORMAL, NON-PERVERTED HUMAN ACTIVITY), it’s become somewhat expected that at each costume party type affair, I’ll be dressed up like a lady. And that’s fine. I’m happy to fill that role :D So, the theme of the Christmas party was “France”… Little bit of a broad […]

The first in the Making Liz series. I don’t know about you, but it took me quite a while to get to grips with even the idea of doing makeup. As a crossdresser, we face some challenges – different challenges, and I, by no means, am no expert on how to tackle them (As I’m SURE you’ll be able to tell from this photo series… But first… let’s begin…

Making Liz – Part One: Bizarre Preparation

There really isn’t much to say in this particular post – a friend and I went to Folsom Street fair. It was kind of boring (I’VE BEEN ON THE INTERNET, I’VE ALREADY SEEN EVERYTHING), so we stopped into a Thai place for lunch/drinks and ended up just hanging out there for a few hours before heading home. She took a some-way decent pic of me, so I might as well post it. Oh hai. (Another post from the series Being Out.)

So, a funny thing happened a while ago… When I posted this entry back in April, one of those photos struck me as one of my favourite pics of myself. It was this one: I think it’s still probably my favourite (not that I don’t try to top it each and every time I take pics!). But while I was sitting in front of my laptop (updating this blog) I began to feel a lot of different things. Things I’d felt before, but never as strongly as I did just then. This is stupid. This is an AWESOME picture of […]

Out. To everyone… On facebook.

I haven’t ever done one of these before. Seemed about time :) If the whole point of this blog (or at least, one of the points) is to show to the world that us crossdressers are not weirdos or freaks – that we’re just normal people who happen to dress up like women every so often, it feels like seeing who we are day to day (or dressed up vaguely like Wayne Campbell from Wayne’s World…) seems like it might help.
